The Town & Country Fire Department is located in Horseheads, NY. Part of the greater Southern Tier region of upstate New York, it's the gateway to the finger lakes. The Town & Country Fire Department is a private corporation that provides contract fire protection services for parts of the Towns of Horseheads, and Town of Veteran. Our diverse coverage area encompasses over 67 square miles of both commercial and residential areas. In any given year we average a total of over 600 alarms ranging from medical emergencies, fires, motor vehicle accidents, and hazardous material incidents.
The Town & Country Fire Department operates with a combination of paid station attendants and volunteer firefighters. Our station is staffed 24 hours a day all year round to immediately respond to any incident.
